A promotion trailer for Book 6, 'The Time Paradox'
A great video about Artemis Fowl that I found on Youtube. It's not official or anything, just something somebody made because they like the Artemis Fowl series.

The entire series is based on the adventures of Irish teenage criminal mastermind, Artemis Fowl and the Lower Elements Police, otherwise known as the LEP.
From: Artemis Fowl II Sent: Today To: Eoin Colfer Subject: artemisfowl.co.uk Dear Mr Colfer, I was disappointed to learn of your continued efforts to hack into my personal files at artemisfowl.co.uk. Please desist. This is a fruitless exercise. Continued attempts to crack my password will result in a visit from my lawyers and ultimately a visit from Butler. Mr Colfer, you have been warned. Characters Artemis Fowl II: Teenage criminal mastermind, heir apparent to the Fowl criminal empire. A human-fairy hybrid at the end of Book 5. Travelled to the past to obtain the silky sifaka lemur that Opal Koboi was also after in Book 6. Holly Short: A Captain of the LEPrecon Unit in Book 1-4, a Captain of Section Eight in Book 5. A talkative and sarcastic elf with an auburn crew cut and hazel eyes. Was shortlisted into promotion for the position of Major in Book 2. Was framed for the death of Julius Root in Book 4. Was turned into an adolescent in Book 6. Domovoi Butler: Artemis's bodyguard, mentor and a stand-in father. Graduate of the Madame Ko Bodyguard Academy. Nearly died in Book 3 after getting shot by Arno Blunt and revealed his first name when dying. Juliet Butler's older brother. Usually just known as Butler. Foaly: The LEP's technical consultant. The most intelligent centaur in the Lower Elements and considers himself to be the 'unappreciated genius'. Very annoying and boastful. Mulch Diggums: Kleptomaniac dwarf. Arrested numerous times. Smells horrible. Helped Artemis and Holly in almost every adventure, including Book 6 where they travel into the past. Julius Root: Commander of the LEPrecon Unit from Book 1-3, and early chapters of Book 4. An extremely irritable elf with a very hot temper. Goes red whenever he gets angry, thus earning him the nickname 'Beetroot'. Trouble Kelp: Commander of LEPretrieval One, the elite force of fairies that everyone wants to be in. Is promoted from Captain to Commander throughout the series. Opal Koboi: Founder of Koboi Laboratories. Has more patents registered under her name than any other fairy (except for the centaur Foaly). Tried to take control over the LEP with Briar Cudgeon (demoted LEP officer) in Book 2, tried to take control of the world in Book 4, and attempted to steal the silky sifaka lemur in order to upgrade her own power by absorbing its brain fluid in Book 6. By that time, she could already levitate, shoot lightning and have a more advanced mesmer. Minerva Paradizo: Similar to Artemis himself in Book 1 when first introduced in Book 5, but is actually kind-hearted and very caring deep down inside. Thinks of Artemis very highly.
I really love this series because it is filled with butt-kicking action. There isn't a single moment that you're bored with the books. There are some moments when you don't know what is going to happen next so you have to flip the page or burst with anticipation. If I had to choose just one book out of the entire series, I would choose 'Artemis Fowl and the Opal Deception' because Artemis has been mind-wiped (so has Butler) so they have no memories about the Fairy People and Opal Koboi has escaped from the J. Argon Clinic and is out to kill him. Holly Short is also charged with the murder of Julius Root, which was actually planned by Koboi.
Praise for Artemis Fowl: 'Reads like the fastest, punchiest comic strip you've ever come across' - Daily Telegraph 'A hectic fusion of real, imaginary and fairy gadgetry. From laser guns to mind wipers, through battery-powered craft and anti-radiation suits, they make the world of James Bond's Q look like child's play' - Guardian 'Pacy, playful and very funny, an inventive mix of myth and modernity, magic and crime' - Time 'Colfer has the ability to make you laugh twice over: first in sheer subversive joy at the inventiveness of the writing, and again at the energy of the humour' - Sunday Times 'Grips like an electromagnet until the last word' - Independent 'Artemis is a brilliant creation' - Anthony Horowitz
At the bottom of each page in the books, there is always a line of code. If you crack the code and write out the entire message, you have some extra information on fairies, Artemis and stuff like that. Most of them are written in Gnommish, the fairy language. However, the codes for 'Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident' and 'Artemis Fowl and the Eternity Code' are different. Here's a hint: the code for The Arctic Incident is in Centaurian, and there just so happens to be a passage of Centaurian in the book so you can crack it on your own (The Ts are very hard to guess so I'll just tell you that the Ts are spaces). The code in Book 3 is the Eternity Code. You can try to translate on your own, or if you don't bother, there are some translations on Youtube so if you bother to search for them, you can find out.
